I won't bore you all with the details of the workout today. It was a quick workout in the basement that did just what I needed it to do... kick my butt and leave me winded and desperate for water. As I get ready to enter into my second week I do think I need to add some variety to this process.
Aside from some much needed changes, I've been finding that the hardest part of this whole routine is all of the obstacles that lay in my way. I've dubbed them my "Enemy List." My guess is that this list may grow to 81 by the end of this journey. Here's a quick list of who/what has hit it so far...
1. Gummy Bears (you've already heard the story)
2. Cozy Beds and Alarm Clocks (should that count as one or two?)
3. Hangovers... not easy to get motivated after one of those!
4. Sharks and Dinosaurs
5. Sore Legs (can't they work with me instead of against me?)
This coming week is going to be about longer routines, better music and conquering the inevitable growing list of enemies!
